"KING JAMES VERSION"
"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Psalm 11:3)

Would you be surprised if I told you that there is a battle going on in fundamental churches regarding the countless modern versions of the Bible. Let me begin by saying that I believe all translations (King James excepted) come from either corrupted manuscripts or corrupted Greek text. I also believe they are paving the way for the coming of the Antichrist..
"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." (2 Tim. 4:3,4)
During the Reformation and Puritan periods, a number of Protestant versions appeared, all based on the same authentic texts and translated according to the same valid principles.
In 1611 the Authorized Version was published
and it was destined to supersede all its rivals. Like the earlier English
Modern versions come and they go, for which we are thankful. This versions maintains its reputation, even against keen competitors like the New King James Version (the most corrupt version of the all).
The Authorized Version proven through the centuries and greatly loved by the Lord’s people, is a truly noble production and it remains the best English translation of God’s infallible Word.
The Bible is the eternal Word of God. It has been given by God to man that it might be the absolute, supreme authoritative, infallible, and unchangeable standard for faith and practice. We can trace the history of the Bible from its origin in divine self-revelation, through its embodiment in written form by supernatural inspiration, to its accurate transmission to this present age by providential preservation. It is our firm belief that, although the storms of criticism continue to rage against God’s Word, the humble believer’s confidence in it is justifiable and substantiated. This sacred volume is and always will be the Book of God
I believe that the Bible is comprised of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments and that it was given in the original writings by inspiration of God. I believe, therefore, that the original manuscripts were both inerrant and infallible. They did not contain any error, because God the Holy Spirit supervised their writing. I believe that God the Holy Spirit guided the writers in the process of their writing with the result that we have the very words which God the Holy Spirit intended for us to have.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" (2 Tim. 3:16)
"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (2 Peter 1:20, 21)
I furthermore believe in verbal (that God not only gave the thoughts but the very words to be written), plenary (extending to all parts alike), inerrant (not liable to prove false or mistaken), and infallible (without error in its teaching) inspiration. The words themselves were inspired of God. I believe God’s Word is the "Final Authority in all matters of Faith and Practice". In addition, I believe that all of the Scripture is inspired of God and that it is equally inspired throughout. The Bible is not primarily a record of man’s thoughts of God, but a record of what God had done and revealed of Himself to man.
I believe that God has preserved His word as He promised. I believe that the original manuscripts are best represented by the traditional texts; i.e., the Hebrew Masoretic text in the Old Testament and the set of manuscripts known as the Textus Receptus in the New Testament. I believe that the manuscripts known as the Textus Receptus are closer to the original than are the manuscripts of the Westcott and Hort tradition. Thus, I use the Greek New Testament (King James Version) in all of my Sunday School Classes and Church Services.
I also believe that the King James Version of the Bible is an accurate, faithful, and reliable translation of these manuscripts and that the English reader can study and rely upon it with utmost confidence. Since its translation, it is apparent that God's blessing has been upon the King James Version of the Bible in a way that God's blessing has not been upon any other English version of the Bible.
At the same time, I do not teach that the King James Version of the Bible was given by inspiration of God. While we teach that the King James Version is accurately translated, we do not believe that it is necessarily the only way something might have been translated and still be accurate. Instead, I believe that it was accurately and correctly translated from the right set of manuscripts.
There have been a number of revisions of the King James Version of the Bible; and we are no longer using the 1611 edition. If the King James Version were given by inspiration of God as the Old and New Testament manuscripts were, there should have been no need of revision, because God would have gotten it right in the first place.
Then, can we say that the King James Version of the Bible is the inspired word of God? Yes, we can. While it was not given by inspiration of God, it is an accurate translation of what was given by inspiration of God and Divinely preserved. It is, therefore, the inspired word of God as a result of preservation.
Why the Thee's and Thou's and Ye's?
One of the most criticized characteristics of the Authorized Version of the Bible is the use of English pronouns. Some unlearned scholars go to great lengths to make fun of thee's, thou's, and ye's. "Why not just use you?" they say. Yet this is one of the strongest points of the Authorized Version.
In the language of the Greek New Testament and Hebrew Old Testament there is a very distinct difference between the second person singular and the second person plural pronouns. We make no difference in modern English--both singular and plural are translated you. However, in old English there exists a difference just as there is in Greek and Hebrew. As a result the old English used in the Authorized Version gives far more precise translation than would modern English.
In our Authorized Version, THEE, THOU, THY, and THINE are always singular. YOU, YE, and YOUR are always plural. If the second person pronoun starts with a "t" (in the English translation) then it is singular. If it starts with a "y" it is plural. This information helps us to better interpret God's Word.
It is interesting to note that, contrary to popular opinion, the word YOU is used in the Authorized Version of the Bible 2,004 times in fact. The thee's and the ye's are used also for accuracy and directness of translation; perhaps the so-called "old" English could better be described as good old "Bible" English.
I reject all modern English translations because they are based on corrupt Greek manuscripts and the Westcott-Hort Greek text.
Beware of Counterfeit King James Bibles
King James Bible believers are faced with a number of problems to day. Another big problem is the fact that many of the secular publishing companies are publishing Bibles and calling them King James Bibles when in fact they are not. They are counterfeits. Because the King James Bible is not copyrighted, secular publishing companies are making many minor changes to the standard text so that they can please certain groups which translates into extra sales for them. One thing a lot of them do is change the spelling of words that end with the letters o-u-r to the more modern American spelling of "o-r". For example a Behaviour becomes behavior. Endeavour becomes endeavor. Favour becomes favor. Honour becomes honor. Labour becomes labor, and Valour becomes valor. So, what's wrong with that? Remember what the scripture said about a little leaven leaventh the whole lump?
The worst of this battle of "o-u-r" vs. "o-r" comes when dealing with the only begotten Son of God. The modern day counterfeiters have changed Saviour to Savior. They have given us a six-letter Savior in place of a seven-letter Saviour. In the Bible seven is the number of completeness, purity, and spiritual perfection. On the other hand six is the number of man and is earthly not heavenly. Every one has heard of 666.
The seven-letter Saviour is the only begotten Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The six-letter Savior is the son of perdition, the anti Christ. He wants to be like the most High (Isaiah 14:14,) but not in a good way, but in an evil way. The new versions, along with the new age movement, and some of the King James Bible counterfeits are preparing the way for this six-letter so called Savior. That's the way he will spell his name, S-a-v-i-o-r not S-a-v-i-o-u-r. No thank you Satan. I'm sticking with the seven-letter Saviour as portrayed in the old black Book that I inherited from my forefathers.
There are many other things going on by the worldly publishing companies. Almost all of them have hardened their hearts against the standard text of the Holy Bible. They do not believe God actually had His hand upon it much less wrote it. They treat it as a product of men. That is why they do not hesitate to publish all the different new versions. Nor do they hesitate to change the old King James and still call it the King James.
Here is a quick way to find out if the Bible you are looking at is the real thing or if it is a counterfeit. Open it up to Genesis 1:1 the real one says; "In the beginning God created the heaven (singular) and the earth." the counterfeit says; "In the beginning God created the heavens (plural) and the earth."If you find one counterfeit word then that is a pretty good indication there are many more. Don't buy that Bible, check somewhere else.

If you would like to improve your score, and in fact score 100%, you can take this test using the Authorized (King James) Bible.
"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" (Gal. 4:16)
I pledge allegiance to the Bible, God's Holy Word,
I will make it a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
i will hide its words in my heart that I might not sin against God.
