  ONE DAY AT A TIME
  ONE MORE VALLEY
  ONE PAIR OF HANDS
ON THE WINGS OF A DOVE

  PEACE IN THE VALLEY
PLEASE RELEASE ME FROM MY SIN
  PRECIOUS MEMORIES
  SOME GOLDEN DAYBREAK
  SOMEONE TO CARE
  SUPPER TIME

  TAKE UP THY CROSS
TEARS WILL NEVER STAIN THE STREETS
  THANK GOD
  THAT SAME ROAD
THE HAND THAT ROCKED THE CRADLE
  THE GREAT SPECKLED BIRD
  THE MASTER'S BOUQUET
  THE OLD ACCOUNT WAS SETTLED
  THE OLD RUGGED CROSS

THE ROSE ROLLED THE STONE AWAY

  THEN JESUS CAME
  THERE IS A RIVER
  THERE’S NO DISAPPOINTMENT IN HEAVEN
  THE WRECK ON THE HIGHWAY
  THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER
THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN MEANS TO ME
  THIS TYPE OF TOUCH
THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME
  TILL THE STORM PASSES BY
  TRAMP ON THE STREET
  TROUBLES AND TRIALS

WAIT A LITTLE LONGER PLEASE JESUS
WE NEED A LOT MORE OF JESUS
WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE
WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN MOTHER
WHEN HE WAS ON THE CROSS
  WHERE COULD I GO?
  WHERE EYES DON’T CRY
  WHO AM I?
  WHY ME LORD?
  WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN?

            ONE DAY AT A TIME

[G]I'm on-ly hu-man I'm just a [D7]man
Help me be-lieve in what I could be
And all that I
[G]am
Show me the stair-way
[G7]I have to [C]climb
Lord for my
[G]sake help me to [D7]take
One day at a
[G]time

CHORUS:

One
[G7]day at a [C]time sweet Je-sus
That's all I'm ask-ing from
[G]You
Just give me the
[D]strength to do ev'ry-day
What I have to
[G]do
Yes-ter-
[G7]day's [C]gone sweet Je-sus
And to-mor-row may ne-ver be
[G]mine
Lord help me to-
[D7]day show me the way
One day at a
[G]time

Do you re-mem-ber when you walked among [D7]men
Well Je-sus you know it's worse now than
[G]then
Pu-shin' and shov-in'
[G7]crowd-ing my [C]mind
So for my
[G]sake, teach me to [D7]take
One day at a
[G] time

                         ONE MORE VALLEY

[G]When I'm tossed on life's sea and the [C]waves co-ver me,
And the
[G]clouds won't al-low the sun-shine [D7]through,
Then a
[G]voice seems to say, "Child, there'll [C]be a bright-er day,
Don't al-
[G]low the clouds to [D7]hide sweet Hea-ven's [G] view."

‘Cause you've got one more
[C]val-ley, one more [G]hill,
May-be one more
[C]trial, one more [G]tear.
One more curve in life's road, may-be
[C]one more mile to go,
You can lay
[D7]down your hea-vy load when you get [G]home.

Don't let Sa-tan see your fears, learn to
[C]smile thru all your tears
Hold your
[G]head up high and give the world a [D7]smile.
Just be
[G]faith-ful all the way, it'll be [C]worth it all some day,
'Cause it's
[G]all gon-na be [D7]ov-er af-ter [G]while.

‘Cause you've got one more
[C]val-ley, one more [G]hill,
May-be one more
[C]trial, one more [G]tear.
One more curve in life's road, may-be
[C]one more mile to go,
You can lay
[D7]down your hea-vy load when you get [G]home.

Yes, you've got one more
[C]val-ley, one more [G]hill,
May-be one more
[C]trial, one more [G]tear.
One more curve in life's road, may-be
[C]one more mile to go,
You can lay
[D7]down your hea-vy load when you get [G]home.

             ONE PAIR OF HANDS

CAPO-2nd Fret

[G]One pair of hands formed the Moun-tains.
[Am]One pair of hands formed the [D]sea.
[G]One pair of hands made the sun and the moon
Ev-ery
[Am]bird, ev-ery flow-er, ev-ery [D]tree.

[G]One pair of hands formed the val-ley,
The
[Am]o-cean, the ri-vers and the [D]sand.
Those
[G]hands are so strong, so [C]when life goes wrong
Put your
[D]faith in-to [D7]one pair of [G]hands.

One pair of hands heal-ed the sick.
[Am]One pair of hands raised the [D]dead.
[G]One pair of hands calmed the rag-ing storm,
And
[Am]thou-sands of peo-ple were [D]fed.

[G]One pair of hands said, I love you.
And those
[C]hands were nail-ed to the [D]tree.
[G]Those hands are so strong, so [C]when life goes wrong
Put your
[Am]faith in-to [D]one pair of [G]hands.

Those hands are so strong, [C]so when life goes wrong
Put your
[Am]faith in-to [D]one pair of [G]hands.
Put your
[Am]faith in-to [D]one pair of [G]hands [C] [G]

ON THE WINGS OF A DOVE

CAPO: Third Fret

[C]When trou-bles sur-round us, When e-vils [F]come
The body grows
[G7]weak, The spirit grows [C]numb
When these things be-set us, He doesn't for -
[F]get us
He sends down His
[C]]love [G7]On the wings of a [C]dove

CHORUS:
On the wings of a snow-white dove
He sends His
[F]pure sweet love
A sign from a-
[C]-bove
On the
[G7]wings of a [C]dove

TAG:
[F]He sends down His [C]]love
[G7]On the wings of a [C]dove

[C]When Noah had drif-ted On the flood many [F]days
He searched
[G7] for land In va-rious [C]ways

[C]When Je-sus went down To the ri-ver that [F]day
He was bap-
[G7]tized In the us-u-al [C]way

[C]love [G7]On the wings of [C]dove

                PEACE IN THE VALLEY

[G] Well I'm tired and so wea-ry [G7] but I [C] must tra-vel [G] on
'Til the Lord comes and calls, calls me a-
[D7] way.
Where the
[G] morn-ing is [G7] bright,
And the
[C] Lamb is the [G]light,
And the night, night is as
[D7] black as the [G] sea.

CHORUS:
There will be
[C] peace in the val-ley for [G] me, some day,
There will be peace in the val-ley for
[D7]me, Oh Lord I pray.
No more
[G] sad-ness no [G7] sor-row no [C] troub-le I’ll see.
For here will be
[G] peace in the [D7] val-ley for [G] me.

TAG:
For here will be peace in the
[D7] val-ley for [G] me.

There the flow-ers will be bloom-ing,
The
[C] grass will be [G] green.
And the skies will be clear and se-
[D7] rene.
The
[G] sun ev-er shines giv-ing [C] one end-less [G] beam,
And no clouds there will
[D7] ev-er be [G] seen.

There the wolf will be gen-tle,
The
[C] bear will be [G] tame.
And the lion will lay down with the
[D7] lamb.
The
[G] beast from the wild will be [C] led by a [G] child,
And I'll be changed from the
[D7] crea-ture I [G] am.

                PLEASE RELEASE ME

For on-ly
[C7]You can cleanse my [F]soul
So re-
[C]lease me from [G7]sin and make me [C]whole

Let me [C7]walk on sa-cred [F]ground
And
[G7]be the lost sheep that you [C]found
Just lead me
[C7]on thru Hea-ven's [F]door
Re-
[C]lease me from [G7]sin to sin no [C]more

Send your [C7]spir-it from a- [F]bove

So re-
[C]lease me from [G7]sin and make me [C]whole

        SOME GOLDEN DAYBREAK

Capo: First Fret

[G]Some glor-ious morm-ing... sor-row will [D7]cease,
Some glo-ious morn-ing... all will be
[G]peace;
Heart-aches all end-ed,...
[G7]school days all [C]done,
Heav-en will
[G]o-pen,... [D7]Je-sus will [G]come.

CHORUS;
[G]Some gold-en day-break... Je-sus will [D7]come,
Some gold-en day-break... bat-tles all
[G]won;
He’ll shout the vic-tory,... break thru the
[Am]blue,
[C]Some gold-en [G]day break,... for [D7]me, for [G]you.

TAG:
He’ll shout the vic-tory,... break thru the
[Am]blue,
[C]Some gold-en [G]day break,... for [D7]me, for [G]you.

[G]Sad hearts will glad-den... All shall be [D7]bright,
Good by For-ev-er... to earth’s dark
[G]night;
Changed in a mo-ment,...
[G7]like Him to [C] be,
O Glo-rious
[G]day-break,...Je-[D7]sus I’ll [G]see

[G]O what a meet-ing,... there in the [D7]skies,
No tears nor cry-ing... shall dim our
[G]eyes;
Loved ones u-nit-ed...
[G7]eter-nal-[C]ly,
Oh, what a
[G]day-break... that [D7]morn will [G]be.

                SOMEONE TO CARE

[G]
You're his child and he [D7]cares for [G]you...
[G]When the world seems cold,
And your
[C]friends seem few,
There is
[G]some-one who cares for [D7]you.
When you've
[G]tears in your eyes;
Your heart
[C]bleeds in-side,
There is
[G]some-one who [D7]cares for [G]you.

CHORUS:
Some-one to care,
[C]some-one to share,
All your
[G]troub-les like no oth-er can [D7]do.
He'll come
[G]down from the skies,
And brush the
[C]tears from your eyes.
You're His
[G]child and He [D7]cares for [G]you.

TAG:
He'll come down from the skies,
And brush the
[C]tears from your eyes.
You're His
[G]child and He [D7]cares for [G]you

When your dis-ap-point-ments come,
And you
[C]feel so blue,
There is
[G]some-one who cares for [D7]you.
When you
[G]need a friend,

A [C]friend till the end,
There is
[G]some-one who's a [D7]friend to [G]you.

                        SUPPER TIME

Capo: Second Fret

[G]When I was but a [C]boy in days of [G]child-hood,
I
[D7]used to play till even-ing sha-dows [G]come,
Then wind-ing down an
[C]old fa-miliar [G]path-way,
I
[D7]heard my moth-er call at set of [G]sun.

CHORUS
:
Come
[C]home, come home, it's sup-per [G]time,
The
[D7]shad-ows length-en [G]fast,
Come
[C]home, come home, it's sup-per [G]time,
We're
[D7]go-ing home at [G]last.

Some of the fondest memories of my childhood
were
[C]woven around supper time
when my mother used to
[G]call
from the back steps of the old home place
[D7]Come on home now son it's supper time.
[G]Ah gee but I'd love to hear that once more.
But you
[C]know for me time has woven the realization
of a truth that is even more thrilling.
[G][G]And that's when the call comes
from the portals of glory to come
[C]home for it's supper time.
When all of God's children shall gather
[D7]round the table
with the Lord Himself. At the greatest supper time of them
[G]all.

[G]One day be-side her [C]bed side I was [G]kneel-ing,
And
[D7]an-gels wings were win-no-wing the [G]air,
She heard the call for
[C]sup-per-time in [G]Hea-ven,
And
[D7]now I know She's wait-ing for me [G]there.

[G]In vi-sions now I [C]see her stand-ing [G]youd-er,
And
[D7]her fa-mil-iar voice I hear once [G]a-gain,
The ban-quet ta-bles
[C]ready up in [G]Hea-ven,
It's
[D7]sup-per-time up-on the gold-en [G]strand.

         TAKE UP THY CROSS

[G]I walked one day a-long a coun-try [D7]road,
And there a stran-ger jour-neyed,
[G]too,
Bent low be-neath the bur-den of His
[D7]load:
It was a cross, a cross I
[G]knew.

CHORUS:
[G7]"Take [C]up thy cross and fol-low [G]Me."
I hear the bles-sed [G7]Sav-ior [D7]call;
How [G]can I make a les-ser [C]sac-ri-fice,
When [G]Je-sus [D7]gave His [G]all?

[G]I cried, "Lord Je-sus," and He spoke my [D7]name;
I saw His hands all bruised and
[G]torn;
I stooped to kiss a-way the marks of
[D7]shame,
The shame for me that He had
[G]borne.

[G]"O let me bear Thy cross, dear Lord," I [D7]cried,
And lo, a cross for me ap-
[G]peared,
The one for-gotten I had cast a-
[D7]side,
The one, so long, that I had
[G]feared.

[G]My cross I’ll car-ry till the crown ap-[D7]pears,
The way I jour-ney soon will
[G]end
Where God Him-self shall wipe a-way all
[D7]tears,
And friend hold fel-low-ship with
[G]friend.

TEARS WILL NEVER STAIN THE STREETS

[G]If I.. could count.. all the [C]tears that have [G]fal-len
They would seem like... an
[G7]o-cean to [D7]me
And if my
[G]heart were a [C]win-dow that you could look [G]through
All the pain and
[D7]scars you would [G]see.

But tears... will never [C]stain... the streets of... that [G]city
No wreaths... of death...
[G7]on my man-sion [D7]door.
[G]Tear-drops.. aren’t [C]we-lcome.. be-yond the gates of [G]glo-ry
Cause the heart.. will ne-ver
[D7]break any-[G]more

I have ques-tion-ed... the [C]loss of a [G]loved one.
Be-cause the grave... seems so
[G7]fi-nal and [D7]cold
But we’ll meat
[G]a-gain... where [C]death has no vic- [G]tory
In a land... where
[D7]we’ll ne-ver grow [G]old.
But tears... will never
[C]stain... the streets of... that [G]city

No wreaths... of death... [G7]on my man-sion [D7]door
[G]Tear-drops.. aren’t [C]wel-come.. beyond the gates of [G]glory
Cause the heart.. will never
[D7]break any- [G]more
Well I’ve ne-ver met... one
[C]man with-out [G]sor-row

Never look-ed in-to [G7]eyes with no [D7]pain.
But there’s a
[G]land where [C]death has no vic- [G]tory
And songs of joy
[D7]are the only songs they [G]sing
But tears ...will ne-ver
[C]stain... the streets of that [G]city

No wreaths... of death.. [G7]on my man-sion [D7]door
[G]Tear-drops... aren’t [C]we-lcome be-yond the gates of [G]glory
Cause the heart will ne-ver
[D7]break any- [G]more
No the heart will ne-ver
[D7]break any- [G]more,
No the heart will ne-ver
[D7]break any- [G]more.[C][G]

                 THANK GOD

[G]There's a road that's straight and nar-row
That the
[G7]saints have tra-velled [C]on
Paved with all..... the trib-u-
[G]la-tions
Of the
[A7]ma-rtyrs that have [D7]gone

If you're [G]grate-ful for their vic-to-ries
And for
[G7]show-ing us the [C]way
Then give thanks for all your
[G]bless-ings
Get
[D7]down on your knees and [G]pray

CHORUS:
Thank
[C]God for eve-ry flow-er and [G]each tree
Thank God for
[A7]all the moun-tains and the [D7]seas

TAG: Thank [G]God for giv-ing life to you and [C]me

Wher-[G]ever you may [D7]be, Thank [G]God
In this world of grief and sor-row
Filled with
[G7]self-ish-ness and [C]greed
There re-mains the glo-ry
[G]foun-tain

To sup- [A7]ply our eve-ry [D7]need
You can
[G]find it in the tem-ple
With a
[G7]wel-come on the [C]door
But be sure to count your
[G]bless-ings
Be-fore
[D7]you ask for [G]more
        Chorus:

Be for-giv-ing to the way-ward
Like the
[G7]Mas-ter told us [C]to
When He said for-give them
[G]Fa-ther
For they
[A7]know not what they [D7]do

They [G]would change their way of liv-ing
If they
[G7]could but un-der- [C]stand
So re-mem-ber they're your
[G]bro-thers
They
[D7]need a help-ing [G]hand
     Chorus:

                    THAT SAME ROAD

[G]I've been [C]stand-ing look-ing down a nar-row [G]road
Try-ing to
[D7]find my way back [G]home.
I've wan-dered so
[C]far from God in [G]sin,
But that same
[D7]road will lead me home a-[G]gain.

CHORUS:
[G]That same [C]road will lead me back to [G]Je-sus
No mat-ter how
[D7]far these feet may [G]trod.
Eve-ry
[C]road sign will point me back to [G]Cal-vary.
It seems
[D7]long-er when you've been a-way from [G]God.

[G]It leads [C]me to the church where I once [G]wor-shipped
By the
[D7]al-tar where I knelt to [G]pray.
I strayed so
[C]far, I'll never under-[G]stand
But that same
[D7]road will lead me home a-[G]gain.

        THE GREAT SPECKLED BIRD

[G]What a beau-ti-ful [G7]thought that I am [C]think-ing
Con-
[D]cern-ing a [D7]great speck-led [G]bird
Re-mem-ber her
[G7]name is re-[C]cor-ded
On the
[D]pa-ges of [D7]God's Ho-ly [G]Word

De-sir-ing to [G7]low-er her [C]stan-dard
They
[D]watch every [D7]move that she [G]makes
They long to find
[G7]fault with her [C]teach-ings
But
[D]real-ly they [D7]find no mis-[G]take

I am glad I have [G7]learned of her [C]meek-ness
I am
[D]proud that my [D7]name is in her [G]book
For I want to be
[G7]one never [C]fear-ing
On the
[D]face of my [D7]Sav-ior to [G]look

When He cometh des- [G7]cend-ing from [C]hea-ven
On the
[D]cloud that He [D7]writes in His [G]Word
I'll be joy-ful-ly
[G7]car-ried to [C]meet Him
On the
[D]wings of that [D7]great speck-led [G]bird

            THE MASTER’S BOUQUET

[G]Death is an An-gel sent [C]down from a- [G]bove
Sent for the buds of the flo-wers we [D7]love
[G]Tru-ly so far in [C]Hea-ven’s own [G] way
Each soul is a flo-wer in the [D7]Mas-ter’s Bou-[G]quet.

CHORUS:
[G]
Ga-ther-ing flowers for the [C]Mas-ter’s Bou-[G]quet
Beau-ti-ful flo-wers that will never de-[D7]cay.
[G]
Ga-thered by An-gels and [C]carr-ied a-[G]way
For-ever to bloom in the
[D7]Mas-ter’s Bou-[G]quet.

[G]Loved ones are pass-ing each [C]day and each [G]hour
Pass-ing a-way as the life of a [D7]flower.
[G]But every bud needs to [C]blos-som some [G]day
Will bloom as the flo-wers in the [D7]Mas-ter’s Bou-[G]quet.

[G]Let us be faith-ful till [C]life’s work is [G]done
Bloom-ing with love till the rea-per shall [D7]come.
[G]
Then we’ll be gath-ered to-[C]gether for [G]aye
Trans-plan-ted to bloom in the [D7]Mas-ter’s Bou-[G]quet

        THE OLD ACCOUNT WAS SETTLED

[C]There was a time on earth, when in the book of Heav’n
An
[F]old ac-count was [C]stand-ing for sins yet un-for- [G7]]giv’n;
My
[C]name was at the top, and ma-ny things be-low,
I
[F]went un-to the [C]Keep-er, and [G7] set-tled long a-[C]go.

CHORUS:
[G7] Long a-go (down on my knees), [C]long a-go (I settled it all),
Yes, the old ac-count was [D7]set-tled long a-
[G7] go (Hal-lelu-jah!);
And the
[C]re-cord’s clear to-day, for He [F]washed my sins a- [C]way,
When the old ac-count was
[G7] set-tled long a- [C]go.

The old ac-count was large, and grow-ing ev-ery day,
For
[F]I was al-ways [C]sin-ning, and ne-ver tried to [G7] pay;
But
[C]when I looked a-head, and saw such pain and woe,
I
[F]said that I would [C] set-tle, I [G7]set-tled long a- [C]go.

When in that hap-py home, my Sav-ior’s home a-bove,
I’ll
[F]sing re-demp-tion’s [C]sto-ry, and praise Him for His [G7] love;
I’ll
[C]not for-get that book, with pag-es white as snow,
Be-
[F]cause I came and [C]set-tled, and [G7] set-tled long a- [C]go.

O sin-ner, trust the Lord, be cleansed of all your sin,
For
[F]thus He hath pro- [C]vi-ded for you to en-ter [G7] in;
And
[C]then if you should live a hund-red years be-low,
Up
[F]there you’ll not re-[C]gret it, you [G7] set-tled long a- [C]go.

         THE OLD RUGGED CROSS

[G]On a hill far a-way stood an [C]old rug-ged cross,
The
[D7]em-blem of suf-fering and [G]shame;
And I love that old cross where the
[C]dear-est and best
For a
[D7]world of lost sin-ners was [G]slain.

CHORUS:
So I’ll
[D]cher-ish the [D7]old rug-ged [G]cross,
Till my
[C]troph-ies at last I lay [G]down;
I will cling to the old rug-ged
[C]cross,
And ex-
[G]change it some- [D7]day for a [G]crown.

O that old rug-ged cross, so des- [C]pised by the world,
Has a
[D7]won-drous at-tract-ion for [G]me;
For the dear lamb of God left His
[C]glo-ry a-bove,
To
[D7]bear it on dark Cal-va- [G]ry.

In the old rug-ged cross, stained [C]with blood so div-ine,
A
[D7]won-drous beau-ty I [G]see;
For ‘twas on that old cross Je-sus
[C]suf-fered and died,
To
[D7]par-don and sanc-ti-fy [G]me.

To the old rug-ged cross I will [C]ev-er be true,
Its
[D7]shame and re-proach glad-ly [G]bear;
Then He’ll call me some-day to His
[C]home far a-way,
Where His
[D7]glo-ry for-ever I’ll [G]share.

THE ROSE ROLLED THE STONE AWAY

Capo: Third Fret

[C]He was tak-en to Gol-ga-tha and nailed fast to the tree
And to think that His suf-fer-ing was for such a one as me
[F]They laid Him in a bor-rowed tomb and [C]sealed it with a stone
[D7]But on that Re-sur-rec-tion morn [G]The Rose proved to be strong.

The Rose [C]rolled the stone a-way and His fra-grance filled the [F]air
[G7]Three days before be-hind deaths door all hope seemed to de-spair
But the
[C]Pre-cious Rose of Sha-ron did not en-ter death to [F]stay
[G7]
And the strength of God’s one little Rose rolled the stone a-[C]way.

[D]Against the door of my poor heart a stone was sealed in place
It seemed to be im-mov-able as though sin had sealed my fate
[G]Then the Crim-son Rose of Cal-vary [D]stood before the door
[E7]That ole stone just crum-bled when He spoke
[A]And now it’s gone for-ever more.

The Rose [D]rolled the stone a-way and His fra-grance filled the [G]air
[A7]Three days before be-hind deaths door all hope seemed to de-spair
But the
[D]Pre-cious Rose of Sha-ron did not en-ter death to [G]stay
[A7]And the strength of God’s one little Rose rolled the stone [D]a-way
[A7]And the strength of God’s one little Rose rolled the stone [D]a-way

                THEN JESUS CAME

[G]One sat a-lone be-side the high-way [Am]beg-ging,
His eyes were [D7]blind, the light he could not [G]see;
He clutched his rags and shiv-ered in the [C]sha-dows,
Then Je-sus [G]came...and [D7]bade his dark-ness [G]flee.

CHORUS:
When Je-sus [D7]comes,...the temp-ters pow’r is [G]bro-ken
When Je-sus [D7]comes,...the tears are wiped a-[G]way.
He takes the gloom... and [G7]fills the life with [C]glo-ry,
For all is [G]changed....when [D7]Je- sus comes to [G]stay.

TAG:
He takes the gloom... and [G7]fills the life with [C]glo-ry,
For all is [G]changed....when [D7]Je-sus comes to [G]stay.

From home and friends the ev-il spir-its [Am]drove him,
A-mong the [D7]tombs he dwelt in mi-se- [G]ry;
He cut him-self as de-mon pow’r pos- [C]sessed him,
Then Je-sus [G]came...and [D7]set the cap-tive [G]free.

"Un-clean! Un-clean!" the le-per cried in [Am]tor-ment,
The deaf, the [D7]dumb, in help-less-ness stood [G]near
The fea-ver raged, di-sease [G7]had grip-ped its [C]vic-tim
Then Je-sus [G]came...and [D7]cast out ev’ry [G]fear.

So men to-day have found the Sav-iour [Am]ab-le.
They could not [D7]con-quer pas-sion, lust and [G]sin;
Their bro-ken hearts had [G7]left them sad and [C]lone-ly;
Then Je-sus [G]came...and [D7]dwelt, Him-self, with- [G]in.

                     THERE IS A RIVER

Capo: First fret

[G]There came a sound from heav- en, As a rush- ing, migh-ty[C]wind,
It filled their hearts with sing-
[D7]ing,... And gave them peace with-[G]in;
The Proph- et __ gave this prom- ise, "The Spir- it will de-
[C]scend,
And from your in - ner be-
[D7]ing... A riv- er with no [G]end."

[G]There is a riv- er... that flows from deep with- [C]in,
There is a foun-
[D7]tain that frees the soul from [G]sin.
Come to this wa- ter, ... There is a vast sup-
[C]ply,
There is a ri- [D7]ver, That nev- er shall run [G]dry

[G]There was a thirs-ty wo-man, Who was draw- ing from a [C]well,
Her life was ruined and wast-
[D7]ed,... Her soul was bound for [G]hell;
Then she met the Mas- ter, __ Who told of her great
[C]sin,
And if you drink this wa-
[D7]ter, You’ll nev- er thirst a- [G]gain.

[G]
There is a riv- er that flows from God a- [C]bove,
There is a foun-
[D7]tain ... that’s filled with His great [G]love.
Come to this wa- ter, There is a vast sup-
[C]ply,
For there is a riv-
[D7]er,... That ne- ver shall run [G]dry!

THERE’S NO DISAPPOINTMENT IN HEAVEN

[C]There's no disa-[G7]point-ment in [C]heav-en
No wea-ri-ness
[G7]sor-row or [C]pain
No hearts that are
[G7]bleed-ing and [C]brok-en
No song with a
[G7]minor re- [C]frain
The
[F]clouds of our earth-ly hor- [C]i-zon
Will ne-ver
[G7]ap-pear in the [C]sky
For all will be
[F]sun-shine and [C]glad-ness
With ne-ver a
[G7]sob or a [C]sigh

CHORUS:
I'm bound for that
[G7]beau-ti-ful [C]ci-ty
My Lord has pre-
[G7]pared for his [C]own
Where all the re-deemed of all
[G7]a-ges
Sing glo-ry a-round the white
[C]throne
Some-times I grow
[F]home-sick for [C]hea-ven
And the glo-ries I there shall be-
[G7]hold
What a joy that will
[C]be
When my
[F]Sav-iour I see

In that [C]beau-ti-ful [G7]ci-ty of [C]gold
We'll ne-ver pay
[G7]rent for our [C]man-sion
The tax-es
[G7]will ne-ver come [C]due
Our gar-ments will
[G7]nev-er grow [C]thread-bare
But al-ways be
[G7]fade-less and [C]new
We'll
[F]nev-er be hung-ry or [C]thirs-ty
Nor lan-guish
[G7]in pov-er-ty [C]there
For all the rich
[F]boun-ties of [C]heav-en

His sanc-ti-fied [G7]child-ren will [C]share
There'll nev-er be
[G7]a crepe on the [C]door-knob
No fu-ne-ral
[G7]train in the [C]sky
No graves on the
[G7]hill-sides of [C]glo-ry
For there we shall
[G7]nev-er more [C]die
The
[F]old will be young there for- [C]ev-er
Trans-formed in a
[G7]mo-ment of [C]time
Im-mor-tal we'll
[F]stand in His [C]like-ness
The stars and the
[G7]sun to out- [C]shine

THE WRECK ON THE HIGHWAY

CAPO: second fret

[G]Who did you say it was bro-ther?
Who was it fell by the
[D]way?
When
[G]whis-key and blood run to-gether
Did you hear
[D]any-one [G]pray?

CHORUS
I did-n't hear no-body pray, dear bro-ther
I
[C]did-n't hear no-body [G]pray
I heard the crash on the high-way
But, I did-n't hear
[D]no-body [G]pray.

When I heard the crash on the high-way
I knew what it was from the
[D]start
I
[G]went to the scene of de-struct-ion
And a pi-cture was
[D]stamped on my [G]heart.

There was whis-key and blood all to-gether
Mixed with glass where they
[D]lay
Death
[G]played her hand in de-struc-tion
But I did-n't hear
[D]no-body [G]pray.

I wish I could change this sad story
That I am now tell-ing
[D]you
But
[G]there is no way I can change it
For some-body's
[D]life is now [G]through.

Their soul has been called by the Mas-ter
They died in a crash on the
[D]way
And
[G]I heard the groans of the dy-ing
But, I did-n't hear
[D]no-body [G]pray.

                 THIRTY PIECES OF SILVER

CAPO: Second Fret

[G]Tis a [G7]sad, but true [C]sto-ry.... from the Bi-ble it [G]came
And it tells us how [D]Ju-das.... sold the Sav-iour in [G]shame
He
[G7]planed with the [C]coun-sel.... Of high priests that [G]day
Thir-ty Pie-ces of
[D]sil-ver.... was the price they would [G]pay.

Thir-ty [G7]Piec-es of [C]Sil-ver.... thir-ty shek-els of [G]shame
Was the price paid for [D]Je-sus.... on the cross He was [G]slain
Be- [G7]trayed and for- [C]sak-en.... un-loved and un- [G]claimed
In an-ger they [D]pierced Him.... but He died not in [G]vain.

Twas there [G7]on the [C]hill-side.... the mul-ti-tudes [G]came
And found our dear [D]Sav-iour.... then they took Him a-[G]way
They [G7]bruised Him and [C]mocked Him.... for the crown 'round His [G]head
And His rain-ment of
[D]pur-ple.... showed the blood stains of [G]red.

Far off [G7]in the [C]moun-tains.... with his face toward the [G]sun
Ju-das begged for [D]mer-cy.... for what he had [G]done
He
[G7]gave back the [C]sil-ver.... for his heart filled with [G]strife
And there in the [D]moun-tains.... he took his own [G]life.

Thir-ty [G7]Piec-es of [C]Sil-ver.... thir-ty shek-els of [G]shame
Was the price paid for [D]Je-sus.... on the cross He was [G]slain
Be-
[G7]trayed and for- [C]sak-en.... un-loved and un- [G]claimed
In an-ger they
[D]pierced Him.... but He died not in [G]vain.

Thir-ty
[G7]Piec-es of [C]Sil-ver.... thir-ty shek-els of [G]shame
Was the price paid for [D]Je-sus.... but He died not in [G]vain.

THIS IS WHAT HEAVEN MEANS TO ME

[G]A coun-try where no [C]twi-light sha-dows [G]deep-en
Un-
[D7]end-ing day where night will ne-ver [G]be
A ci-ty where no
[C]storms will ever [G]ga-ther
Oh
[D7]this is just what hea-ven means to [G]me

CHORUS :
What will it
[C]be when we get o-ver [G]yon-der?
And
[D7]join the throne up-on the crys-tal [G]sea
We’ll join our
[C]loved ones and crown Christ for- [G]ever
Oh
[D7]this is just what hea-ven means to [G]me.

And when at last we [C]see the face of [G]Je-sus
Be-
[D7]fore his im-mage oth-er loves all [G]flee
And when they crown him
[C]Lord of all I’ll [G]be there
For
[D7]this is just what hea-ven means to [G]me

It's a place where there [C]is no mis-under- [G]stand-ings
And
[D7]from all en-mi-ty and strife I'm [G]free
There no un-kind words to
[C]wound the heart are [G]spok-en
For
[D7]this is just what Hea-ven means to [G]me.

                THIS TYPE OF TOUCH

[G]One lo-ses a daugh-ter a- [C]not-her a [G]son
A- not-her the best friend ev-er
[D7]had
One
[G]los-es a com-pan-ion of [C]so ma-ny [G]years
A-noth-er a
[D7]Mot-her or [[G]Dad
The
[C]pain that you feel I [G]wish I could heal
Your grief is too deep and too
[D7]much
But I can
[G]point you to Je-sus and [C]with His gen-tle [G]hands
He
[D7]has this type of [G]touch.

CHORUS:
He can
[C]reach to the bot-tom of [G]your brok-en heart
And
[D7]pull back to-ge-ther what pain pulled a- [G]part
He
[C]knows how you feel when your [G]giv-ing so much
On-ly
[D7]Je-sus has this kind of [G]touch

The blind man the lame in His [C]hands were the [G]same
The fa-llen He al-ways helped
[D7]up
And to
[G]all who come, no [C]mat-ter the [G]need
He al-ways has
[D7]more than e- [G]nough
But when He
[C]went to Cal-vary and was [G]nailed to the cross
His gen-tle
[D7]hands now cov- ered with [G]blood
He reached
[C]out once a-gain to [G]save us from sin
On-ly
[D7]Je-sus has this type of [G]touch

THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME

[G]This world is not my home, [G7]I’m [C]just a pas-sing [G]through;
My trea-sures are laid up some-
[A7]where be-yond the [D7]blue.
The
[G]ang-els beck-on me [G7]from [C]hea-ven’s open [G]door,
And I can’t feel at home
[C]in [G]this world [D7] any- [G]more.

CHORUS:
Oh, Lord you
[G7]know I [C]have no friend like [G]You,
If hea-ven’s not my home, then
[A7]Lord what will I [D7]do?
The
[G]an-gels beck-on me [G7]from [C]hea-ven’s open [G]door,
And I can’t feel at home
[C]in [G]this world [D7]any- [G]more.

There all ex-pec-ting me, [G7]and [C]that’s one thing I [G]know.
My Sav-iour par-doned me, and
[A7]now I on-ward [D7]go.
I
[G]know He’ll take me through, [G7]thought [C]I am weak and [G]poor,
And I can’t feel at home
[C]in [G]this world [D7]any- [G]more.

I have a lov-ing mo-[G7]ther [C]up in glo-ry [G]land,
And I don’t ex-pect to stop
[A7]un-til I shake her [D7]hand.
She’s
[G]wait-ing now for me [G7]in [C]hea-ven’s o-pen [G]door,
And I can’t feel at home
[C]in [G]this world [D7] any- [G]more.

Just up in glo ry land
[G7]we’ll [C]live e ter nal [G]ly;
The saints on every hand are
[A7]shout ing vic-to- [D7]ry.
Their
[G]songs of sweet-est praise [G7]drift [C]back from hea ven’s [G]shore,
And I can’t feel at home
[C]in [G]this world [D7] any- [G]more.

               TILL THE STORM PASSES BY

In the [G]dark of the mid-night have I [D]oft hid my face,
While the storm howls a-bove me, and there's
[C]no hid-ing [G]place.
'Mid the crash of the thun-der, Pre-cious
[C]Lord, hear my cry,
Keep me
[G]safe till the [D]storm pas-ses [G]by.

Till the [D]storm pas-ses over, till the [G]thun-der sounds no more,
Till the
[A7]clouds roll for-ever from the [D]sky;
Hold me
[G]fast, let me stand in the [C]hol-low of Thy [G]hand,
Keep me safe till the
[D]storm pas-ses [G]by.

Many times Sa-tan whis-pered, "There is [D]no need to try,
For there's no end of sor-row, there's no
[C]hope by and [G]by"
But I know Thou art with me, and
[C]to-mor-row I'll rise
Where the
[G]storms never [D]dark-en the [G]skies.

Till the
[D]storm pas-ses over, till the [G]thun-der sounds no more,
Till the
[A7]clouds roll for-ever from the [D]sky;
Hold me
[G]fast, let me stand in the [C]hol-low of Thy [G]hand,
Keep me safe till the
[D]storm pas-ses [G]by.

When the long night has en-ded and the [D]storms come no more,
Let me stand in Thy pres-ence on the
[C]bright peace-ful [G]shore;
In that
[G]land where the tem-pest, ne-ver [C]comes, Lord, may I
Dwell with
[G]Thee when the [D]storm pas-ses [G]by.

Till the [D]storm pas-ses over, till the [G]thun-der sounds no more,
Till the
[A7]clouds roll for-ever from the [D]sky;
Hold me
[G]fast, let me stand in the [C]hol-low of Thy [G]hand,
Keep me
[G]safe till the [D]storm pas-ses [G]by.

                    TRAMP ON THE STREET

[C]Only a tramp was Laza-rus that [F]day
He who lay [G7]down at the rich man's [C]gate [G]
[C]
He [G7]begged for the [C]crumbs from the rich man to [F]eat
But they left him to [C]die like... a [G7]tramp on the [C]street

He was some mother's dar-ling, he was some moth-er's [F]son
Once he was [G7]fair and once he was [C]young [G]
[C]
Some [G7]mo-ther [C]rocked him, her dar-ling, to [F]sleep
But they left him to [C]die like a [G7]tramp on the [C]street

Jesus who died on Cal-va-ry's [F]tree
Shed his life's [G7]blood for you and for [C]me [G]
[C]
They [G7]pier-ced his [C]side, his hands, and his [F]feet
Then they left him to [C]die like a [G7]tramp on the [C]street

If He should come and knock at your [F]door
Ask-ing for [G7]drink or for bread from your [C]store [G]
[C]
Would [G7]you ac- [C]cept him or turn him a-[F]way
For this He will [C]judge you on the [G7]great Judg-ment [C]Day

     TROUBLES AND TRIALS

[G]Trou-bles and tri-als often be- [C]tray those
call-ing the [G]wea-ry body to [D7]stray.
But we shall [G]walk be-side the still [C]wa-ters
with the Good [G]Shep-herd [D7]lead-ing the [G]way.

CHORUS:
Go-ing up home to [C]live in green pas-tures
where we shall [G]live and [A7]die ne-ver [D7]more.
Even the [G]Lord will be in that [C]num-ber
When we have [G]reached that [D7]Hea-ven-ly [G]shore.

[G]Those who have strayed were sought by the [C]Mas-ter
He who once [G]gave His life for [D7]the sheep.
Out on a [G]moun-tain still He is [C]search-ing
Bring-ing them [G]in for-[D7]ever to [G]keep.

[G]We-e will heed the voice of this [C]stran-ger
for he would [G]lead us on to [D7]de-spair.
Fol-low-ing [G]on with Je-sus our [C]Sav-ior
We shall all [G]reach that [D7]coun-try so [G]fair.

WAIT A LITTLE LONGER PLEASE JESUS

[G]Here the la-bor is so hard
And the
[C]wor-kers, are so [G]tired
And our wea-ry hearts are year-nin' for a
[D7]rest
And I
[G]find we're get-ting anx-ious
To
[C]be in that hap-py [G]home
Where we'll re-ceive such
[D7]peace and hap-pi- [G]ness.

CHORUS:
But wait a lit-tle lon-ger, please
[D7]Je-sus
There are so ma-ny wan-der-ing out in
[G]sin
Just a lit-tle lon-ger, please
[D7]Je-sus
A few more days to get our loved ones
[G]in.

TAG:
Just a lit-tle lon-ger, please
[D7]Je-sus
A few more days to get our loved ones
[G]in.

The family's scat-tered here and there
And oh,
[C]Lord we love them [G]dear
May-be we can help them find the
[D7]way
But if
[G]wait-ing is the cost
Oh,
[C]Lord they might be [G]lost
And that's the on-ly
[D7]rea-son why we [G]say.

WE NEED A LOT MORE OF JESUS

[G]You can read it in the morn-ing pa-per,
[C] Hear it on the ra-dio.
How crime is sweep-ing our
[G]na-tion.
This world is about to
[D7]go.

CHORUS:
We need a good case of sal-
[G]va-tion,
To get the
[C]love of God in our soul.
We need a whole lot more of
[G]Je-sus,
On-ly
[D7]He can make us [G]whole

[G]We need more old time camp meet-ings,
[C]And a lot more prayers of faith.
Prayers that will move a
[G]moun-tain,
Save our souls from a burn-ing
[D7]grave.

[G]We need more old fash-ioned preach-ers,
[C]Pour-ing out their hearts in prayer.
When you're in their
[G]pre-sence,
You know that the Lord is
[D7]there.

WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE

CAPO: Second fret

[G]There is com-ing a day
When no heart-ache shall come
No more
[D7]clouds in th sky
No more
[G]tears to dim th eye
All is
[C]peace for-ever more
On that
[G]hap-py gold-en shore
What a
[D7]day, glo-ri-ous day
That will
[G]be

CHORUS:
What a
[C]day, that will be
When my
[G]Je-sus, I shall see
When I
[D7]look up-on His face
The one who
[G]saved me by His grace
When He
[C]takes me by the hand
An' leads me
[G]to th Promise Land
What a
[D7]day, glo-rious day
That will
[G]be

There'll be no sor-row there
No more bur-dens to bear
No more
[D7]sick-ness nor pain
No more
[G]part-ing ov-er there
An' for-
[C]ever I will be
With the
[G]One, who died for me
What a
[D7]day, glor-ious day
That will
[G]be

WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN MOTHER

[G]What a friend we have in [C]mo-ther.
[G]Who will all our sec-rets [D7]share.
[G]We should ne-ver keep things [C]from her.
[G]Tell her [D7]all and she'll be [G]there.

[D7]O what ten-der love she [G]gives us.
[C]When in [G]sor-row or des-[D7]pair.
[G]Tell her gent-ly, whis-per [C]soft-ly.
[G]She will [D7]list-en, she'll be [G]there.

[G]Day by day as she grows [C]old-er.
[G]She's the na-tion's shin-ing [D7]star.
[G]Don't for-get the prayers she [C]taught you.
[G]You will [D7]need them where you [G]are.

[D7]Though her hair has truned to [G]sil-ver.
[C]Send her [G]flow-ers sweet and [D7]fine.
[G]Al-ways tell her that you [C]love her.
[G]She'll be [D7]wait-ing, she'll be [G]there.

[G]When her eyes are closed to [C]slum-ber.
[G]Gent-ly kiss her icy [D7]brow.
[G]Fold her hands upon her [C]bo-som.
[G]She will [D7]rest in Heav-en [G]now.

[D7]
When your days are dark and [G]drea-ry.
[C]And your [G]cross is hard to [D7]bear.
[G]Do not let your me-mory [C]fail you.
[G]Think of [D7]mo-ther, she'll be [G]there.

WHEN HE WAS ON THE CROSS,

                             I WAS ON HIS MIND

[G]I'm not on an e-go trip,... I'm [D7]noth-ing on my own;
I make mis-takes, I slip and fall,... just com-mon
[C]flesh [D7]and [G]bone.
But I'll prove some-day, just why I say, I'm
[G7]of a spec-ial [C]kind.
[D7]For when He was on the cross,... [C]I was [D7]on His [G]mind.

CHORUS:
For He knew me,... yet He
[C]loved me.
[D7]He whose glo-ry makes the hea-vens [G]shine.
So un-wor-thy ... of such
[C]mer-cy,...
When
[D7]He was on the cross, [C]I was [D7]on His [G]mind.

TAG:
When
[D7]He was on the cross, [C]I was [D7]on His [G]mind.

The look of love was on His face, the [D7]thorns were on His head,
His blood ran down His scar-let robe, and stained it
[C]crim- [D7]son [G]red.
Though His eyes were on the crowd that day,
[G7]He looked a-head [C]in time,
[D7]For when He was on the cross, [C]I was [D7]on His [G]mind.

                WHERE COULD I GO?

[G]Liv-ing be- [G7]low in [C]this old sin-ful [G]world,
hard-ly a com-fort can af- [D7]ford
[G]Striv-ing a- [G7]lone to [C]face temp-ta-tion [G]sore,
Where [Am]could I [G]go but [D7]to the [G]Lord?

CHORUS:
[G]
Where could I [G7]go, O [C]where could I [G]go;
seek - ing a refuge for my [D7]soul?
[G] Need - ing a [G7] friend to [C]help me in the [G]end,
Where [Am]could I [G]go but [D7]to the [G] Lord?

TAG:
[G]
Need - ing a [G7] friend to [C]help me in the [G]end,
Where [Am]could I [G]go but [D7]to the [G] Lord?

[G]Neigh-bors are [G7] kind, I [C] love them eve-‘ry [G] one,
we get a-long in sweet ac- [D7]cord;
[G]But when my [G7]soul needs [C]man-na from a- [G]bove,
Where [Am] could I [G] go but [D7] to the [G] Lord?

[G]Life here is [G7]grand with [C]friends I love so [G]dear
Com-fort I get from God’s own [D7]Word
[G]Yet When I [G7]Face the [C]chill-ing hand of [G]death,
Where [Am]could I [G]go but [D7]to the [G] Lord?

                     WHERE EYES DON’T CRY

[G]Ev-ery-where I look a- [Em]round me, [G]There’s pain in ev-ery [Em]eye
[G]
Bro-ken hearts and [Em]prom-i-ses, [G]the sor-rows of good- [D]by
[G]I see suf-fer-ing li-ttle [Em]child-ren, [G]In a world that [C]is un-[D]fair
[G]And the on-ly hope, is the hope I have, [D]Of a [C]place some-[D]where

Where eyes don’t
[C]cry, [D]and heats don’t [G]break
We’ll ne-ver,
[C]ev-er won-der, why, [D]a-[G]gain
Our ques-tion
[C]here, [D]He’ll an-swer [G]there.
Where eyes don’t
[C]cry and [D]hearts don’t [G]break.

It’s be-yond my un-der- [Em]stand-ing, [G]How every-thing will [Em]be
[G]I on-ly know my faith has [Em]sight, [G]Of things my eyes can’t [D]see
[G]And a mil-lion years, of His lost [Em]joy, [G]For ev-ery [C]tear we’ve [D]cried
[G]Will be the gift the Fa-ther gives, As He [D]wel-comes [C]us in- [D]side

Where eyes don’t [C]cry, [D]and heats don’t [G]break
We’ll ne-ver,
[C]ev-er won-der, why, [D]a-[G]gain
Our ques-tion
[C]here, [D]He’ll an-swer [G]there.
Where eyes don’t
[C]cry and [D]hearts don’t [G]break.

Where eyes don’t [C]cry, [D]and heats don’t [G]break
We’ll ne-ver, [C]ev-er won-der, why, [D]a-[G]gain
Our ques-tion
[C]here, [D]He’ll an-swer [G]there.
Where eyes don’t
[C]cry and [D]hearts don’t [G]break.

                       WHO AM I?

[G]Then I ask my-self a [D7]ques-tion – who am [G]I?
[G]When I think of how He came so far from [D7]glo-ry
Came to dwell a-mong the low-ly such as
[G]I
To suf-fer shame and such dis-grace
On Mount
[C]Cal-vary take my place
Then I
[G] ask my-self this [D7]ques-tion,
Who am
[G]I?

CHORUS:
[G]Who am [C]I that a King would bleed and [G]die for
Who am I that He would pray not my will, thine
[D7]Lord
The an-swer
[G]I may ne-ver know
Why He
[C]ev-er loved me so
But to an
[G]old rug-ged cross He'd [D7]go
For who am
[G]I?

[G]Then I'm re-minded of His words
I'll leave thee
[D7]ne-ver
So just be true, I'll give to you my life for-
[G]ever
I won-der what I could have done
To
[C]de-serve God's only Son
Fight my
[G]bat-tles ‘til they're won
[D7]Who am [G]I?

            WHY ME LORD?

Why me Lord, [G]what have I ev-er [C]done
To de-serve ev-en [G]one
Of the plea-sures I've [D7]known
Tell me Lord, [G]what did I ever [C]do
That was worth love from [G]you
Or the [D7]kind- ness you've [G]shown.

CHORUS:
[C]
Lord help me Je-sus, I've [G]was-ted it
so
Help me [D7]Je-sus I know what I [G]am
[C]Now that I know that I've [G]need - ed you so
Help me
[D7]Je-sus, my soul's in your [G]hand.

TAG:
[D7]
Je-sus, my soul's in your [G]hand.

Tell me Lord, [G]If you think there's a [C]way
I can try to re - [G]pay
All I've tak-en from [D7]you
May-be Lord, [G]I can show someone [C]else
What I've been through my-[G]self
On my [D7]way back to [G]you

WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN

[D]There are loved ones in the glo-ry,
Whose dear
[G]forms you of-ten [D]miss.
When you
[G]close your earth-ly [D]sto-ry,
Will you join them
[A]in their [D]bliss.

CHORUS:
Will the cir-cle be un-bro-ken,
By and
[G]by Lord by and [D]by,
In a
[G]bet-ter home a-[D]wait-ing,
In the sky Lord,
[A]in the [D]sky.

In the joy-ous days of child-hood,
Oft they
[G]told of wond-rous [D]love.
Point-ed
[G]to the dyi-ng [D]Sav-ior,
Now they dwell with
[A]Him a-[D]bove.

You re-mem-ber songs of hea-ven,
Which you [G]sang with chil-dish [D]voice.
Do you [G]love the hymns they [D]taught you,
Or are songs of [A]earth your [D]choice?

You can pic-ture hap-py gathe-rings,
Round the [G]fire-side long a-[D]go,
And you [G]think of tear-ful [D]par-tings,
When they left you [A]here be- [D]low.

One by one their seats were emp-tied,
One by [G]one they went a- [D]way.
Now the [G]fam-ily is [D]par-ted,
