A FAR ABOVE WOMAN
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. (Proverbs 31:10-31)
We live in a society today where church membership has become superficial. Our commitment to GOD and his Church is merely skin deep. We have become members but not transformed and not quite sold out for Jesus. We have not sacrificed everything for the kingdom of GOD. We have become a part of a costless religion, A non-sacrificial religion, a convenient religion, although salvation is free is will cost you something. It may cost you some relationships, it may cost you some friends, it may cost you're your career.
Virtuous is defined as conforming to moral and ethical principles; morally excellent; upright: Lead a virtuous life. Another definition says Possessing or exhibiting virtue. Specifically: Exhibiting courage and strength; valorous; valiant; brave, courageous, power, potent, having moral excellence. Virtuous is derived from the noun virtue which means strength.
Who can find a virtuous woman her price is far above rubies? A ruby is a very rare and valuable gem and in comparison is more valuable than similar sized diamonds.
A virtuous woman is priceless. Who can find a virtuous woman? The question implies that someone is looking for her. That she is difficult to find. It indicates to us that good women are scarce. Not only are men looking for a virtuous woman but GOD is looking for virtuous women. The Church is saying help wanted and that she is looking for powerful women, looking for women that exudes strength, women of courage and women that has moral excellence.
Another synonym for virtuous is chaste woman and chaste means pure. Somebody is looking for a pure woman in these last and evil days. A virtuous woman is a commendable, praiseworthy or admirable trait that should be desired. Proverbs tells us that a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband he that maketh ashamed is rottenness to his bone.
When a far above woman is independent, complete and whole within herself is when she is most attractive to a man. When she has reached this level in her life that is when she is ready to be a crown to a husband. Proverbs 12 tells us that a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband she is a reward to her husband. A crown signifies royalty so she makes him royal.

Being a virtuous woman is what the Lord requires of you. A virtuous woman is discreet and not on the street. She does not broadcast her business on the street, she is not the town gazette and running around town with everything that she hears. She takes care of business at home while her husband is away. She makes his reputation good by knowing to have a good wife. She compliments him and encourages him.
Ruth was known as a virtuous woman. She was one of those virtuous women that love not to eat the bread of idleness, but love to take pains. If you read the book of Ruth you will find an example of woman who does not mind working. She is an example of a poor woman who would rather work for a living and not beg for what she can earn.
A virtuous woman is a phenomenal ...woman. A phenomenal woman is not cute or built to a fashion model's size When you walk into a room just as cool as you please and to a man the fellows stand or fall to their knees and they swarm all around you like a hive of honey bees…..bzzzz bzzzz bzzzzz. All of you phenomenal woman give yourselves a hand. All of your virtuous woman give yourselves a hand.
What the world needs now are some virtuous women, the world needs woman who are far above. The world needs woman who are far above their financial problems and woes. Women who can do like Jesus. He took two fish and five barley loaves of bread and fed a multitude.
A far above woman can take some beans and rice and fed her family and the neighbors household. A far above woman may not be perfect but she is one that feareth the Lord. She may not have been able to give us what we want but was always able to provide us with what we needed.
Many of you had virtuous woman right in your own households when your were growing up. While you went to sleep with a full belly mama went to bed hungry praying and talking to GOD about how the bills are going to get paid and how she was going to buy school clothes, and how you were going to be able to go on the school trip with all the other kids. While you went to school with lunch money to buy lunch, mama hoped that someone would buy her lunch because she didn't have any money.
A virtuous woman takes care of her family when they are sick, even when she is not feeling well herself. She often puts the needs of others before her needs and for that we just want to say thank you.
Many virtuous women have a full time job and have to come home to another full time job taking care of the family. The virtuous woman is often overlooked, overworked and underpaid.
She is far above petty stuff
she is far above gossip
She is far above backstabbing
She is far above hatred
She is far above jealousy
She is far above all the things that separate people from Christ.
She is an example for others to see.
She hates sin.
She puts her faith and trust in the Lord.
She knows that she is not the head of man but when it comes to her situations
that she is the head and not the tail.
She is far above her problems and situations
She is far above every weight and sin that so easily beset her.
She is far above hwe struggles and knows that she will outlast her struggles
she lives victoriously over earthly circumstances
She knows how to live an abundant life in the middle of a wilderness situation.
She knows her redeemer lives and never fails to thank you for "Just another
day."
She is a woman of vision, and destiny.
God has placed within her Spirit a ministry that must come forth. She is not ashamed to wash the feet of Jesus with her tears and dry them with her hair because He alone is her life-line. ...Her head is held high, her steps are sure, and her words are seasoned. Her appearance portrays her royalty within the body of Christ.
She knows that the bend is not the end of the road and if she would just turn there is more to see. 2 Chronicles says if my people who are called by my name shall humbles themselves. If you want to be a far above woman you have to first go down low. You have to get down on your knees and pray, seek the Lord's face.
She knows that the storms may come and the winds may blow, there will be times when it seems like the ends don't meet, she knows that there will be times of sickness, trials, heartaches and broken dreams, She knows that weeping may endure for a night but when the morning time comes joy shall be there.
A far above woman is forgetting those things which are behind and is pressing to the mark of the high calling of GOD in Christ Jesus.
